Vacuum Robot, Neato XV-11 in action

Robot vacuum working on our front hall. We have this unit as a beta test and it has been automatically cleaning our house for the last couple of weeks. It can map a room and make sure to vacuum all floor spaces (not a random bump around). It also remembers where its charger is and when it needs a charge or is done for the day will park itself. This video shows it finishing up in the 3rd of three rooms, doing the serpentine pattern. It doesn't get close to room edges because it already did that as a first step in mapping the room. When it finishes the job it goes back to the first room to park itself at its charging station -- all by itself! It is remarkable how much stuff this picks up everyday (we have a labrador retriever so we really need to sweap up hair everyday). very cool!
